Adult & Teen Classes

Thread City Classical Dance offers a variety of adult & teen classes that provide high quality artistic training for dancers of all ages and skills.  Classes culminate with a spring performance at the end of the year!

If a family enrolls in multiple classes, a 15% discount will be automatically applied to their total at payment.

Adult Ballet Class

ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS: A SIX WEEK INTRODUCTION TO BALLET BASICS FOR ADULTS & TEENS

Discover the beauty and strength of ballet in this six-week introductory course designed for adults and teens. Learn fundamental ballet techniques, build core and leg strength, develop expressive arms, and gain confidence with ballet’s essential rhythms and vocabulary. By the end of this six week course, students will be able to continue to develop skills in the Beginning Ballet for Adults & Teens class on Sunday afternoons if they wish.

$150 per six week session

Sundays 1 - 2:30 p.m. beginning January 4, 2026

Ages 13+

No prior dance experience required

BEGINNING BALLET FOR ADULTS & TEENS

Beginning Ballet students will build a strong ballet foundation with exercises to build strong muscles, expressive arms and hands and gain an understanding of ballet’s most common rhythms and vocabulary.​

​Purchase Punch Card. Six punch card minimum required.

Punch cards expire at the end of the season (September - May OR Summer season) in which they are purchased.

Offered:

Sundays 3 - 4:30 p.m.

Ages 13+

No prior dance experience required.

Tap Dancer

ADULT & TEEN TAP

Appropriate for intermediate level and adult and teen dancers. Students learn tap including basic to more complex vocabulary, styles and fundamentals of tap technique, through floor progressions and combinations. Creativity is encouraged.

$53 monthly

Offered:

Tuesdays 7:45 - 8:30 p.m.
